Dental RAT

The Dental RAT is simply a foot-operated wireless mouse device (USB) that your hygienist can use to perio chart. It works with any software because it interfaces with Windows as a wireless mouse.Dental RAT

It could not be simpler to use! Place the RAT on the floor. Put your heal on the gray button. The gray button is the equivalent of a left mouse click.

Then, use the 4 middle buttons with your foot to chart a 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you want to chart a 5, 6, 7, or 8, simply double tap the button and the click will register as a doubleclick.

If you wish to my your mouse to a different spot on the chart without using your hands, the joystick at the toe of the unit acts like a mouse pointer.

Hygenists can now run the operatory dental software without assistance and there is no risk of cross contamination as is present when using standard computer hardware.
